1. 30-Day Return Window
Playverse LLC operates under the understanding that sometimes a purchase does not perfectly align with a collector's intent. We offer a rigid 30-day return window. You possess 30 calendar days from the date of physical delivery to request a return. Requests generated beyond this 30-day temporal boundary will be respectfully declined without exception.
2. Condition of Returned Games
To qualify for a refund, the board game must remain entirely untouched. It must be in its absolute original condition, featuring the uncut factory shrinkwrap. Once the plastic is broken, the box lid lifted, or any internal punchboards are engaged, the item is classified as 'used' and is strictly ineligible for return. We cater to a collector demographic that demands pristine, unblemished artifacts; therefore, we cannot accept returns on opened titles under any pretense.
3. Missing or Damaged Components
If you break the factory seal and discover a manufacturing defect—such as a missing wooden meeple, a torn rulebook, or an improperly die-cut punchboard—do not attempt to return the entire massive box. This is highly inefficient. Instead, initiate our Component Replacement Protocol. Contact our support team directly. We leverage our publisher relationships to secure the exact missing component and dispatch it to your location rapidly, ensuring your game functions flawlessly as designed.
4. Return Shipping Procedures
To commence a return of an unopened game, you must first email [email protected] to secure a Return Authorization Number (RAN). You are financially responsible for the return shipping costs. Furthermore, we strongly mandate that you utilize heavy-duty packaging with corner reinforcement—mirroring our outbound shipping standards. If an unopened game arrives back at our Swansea facility with crushed corners due to negligent packaging on your part, the return will be rejected or subject to a heavy restocking fee.
5. Refund Processing Times
Upon the arrival of your returned item at our headquarters, our inspection team will physically verify the integrity of the factory shrinkwrap and the structural condition of the box. Once approved, a refund will be initiated to your original method of payment. You should expect the funds to manifest in your account within 5 to 7 business days, dependent upon the specific processing speeds of your banking institution.
